Who is this For?

Aging causes volume loss and sunkenness, with hollowing of the temples, eyes and cheeks leading to an aged and withered appearance.

Fillers add fullness and restore volume to areas of the face that have hollowed out. It is suitable for those seeking to smoothen wrinkles, restore youthful facial contours or achieve desirable enhancements such as a higher nose bridge or a sharper chin for better facial proportions. This increases physical appeal and confidence.

There are many good fillers in the beauty aesthetic market, each catering to different needs. The main difference in these fillers is the fluidity and cohesivity of the fillers that is determined by the amount of inter-molecular bonds between the hyaluronic acid molecules.

 Brief categories are:

  1. Hydration fillers/Skin-boosters
  2. Collagen-boosting fillers
  3. Volumizing fillers
  4. Structural fillers

A common question is whether a patient needs fillers or neuromodulators/toxins. These are totally different in nature and effects, as explained under the Neuromodulators/Toxins page.

The doctor will first assess your concerns and understand your expectations to best select the type of filler needed.

Next, the area is cleansed and anaesthetic cream applied.

The doctor will then carefully inject the filler via a sharp needle or a blunt cannula. From start to finish, the entire procedure typically takes about 30 minutes or more depending on the targeted areas.

The fillers are hyaluronic acid-based and poly-L-lactic acid based.

Hyaluronic acid fillers add volume by drawing in moisture, while poly-L-lactic acid based fillers stimulate collagen to recover skin elasticity, smoothen lines and wrinkles thus restoring youthfulness.

This procedure is performed by our doctors who are registered with the Singapore Medical Council.

Better facials contours, deep wrinkles are plumped up and smoothed out. Skin quality is greatly boosted with the hydrating effects of hyaluronic acid as well as the collagen increase with poly-L-lactic acid.

Results vary with different patients.

Near Static Lines and Wrinkles

Filling of lines and wrinkles smooths skin appearance for a more youthful and radiant look.

At Temples

Filling in sunken temples creates a younger-looking oval-shaped face.

Near the Eye / Tear Trough

Filling tear trough immediately refreshes a tired look, bringing back your invigorated and confident self.

At the Nose

Asians in general have features that are less well-defined compared to Caucasians.

A well-defined structural nose is a beauty defining feature. In the past, a nose bridge can only be created through invasive plastic surgery. Nowadays, injecting fillers at strategic areas can achieve a higher nose bridge and defined nose tip.

This procedure can be highly complemented by Nose Thread Lift.

At the Cheeks

Fillers can help plump up cheeks, restoring fullness and improving nasolabial folds and marionette lines.

This procedure can be highly complemented by Thread Lift.

At the Chin and Jawline

Injecting fillers at the chin and jawline can help contour your chin to achieve a V-shaped face.

This procedure can be highly complemented by Thread Lift.

All the above procedures are performed by our doctors who are registered with the Singapore Medical Council.

There is minimal downtime for this treatment, though there are instances of slight bruising.

For an all-rounded 3-dimensional rejuvenation of the face, we recommend combining fillers with other synergistic anti-aging procedures such as Thermage, Ultherapy, and Thread Lift.
