Nose Thread Lift
Insertion of threads
More defined nose
Smaller nose tip
Redness, swelling, soreness
Who is this For?
Nose thread lifts are a safe, non-surgical alternative suitable for those looking to enhance the appearance of their nose without the risks or complications associated with rhinoplasty. This procedure is quick, both in terms of procedure time and in recovery.
It gives a natural-looking enhancement without looking over-corrected.
Safe, biocompatible and absorbable threads made of polydioxanone (PDO) are inserted along the nose bridge as well as nose column for an instant lifting effect.
When the PDO threads dissolve over 3 – 6 months, they stimulate collagen production to naturally maintain the nose’s definition.
The therapist first cleanses the face and applies an anaesthetic cream. The doctor injects local anaesthesia along the bridge and column of the nose. A needle is used to make a nick over the tip of the nose where the threads will be carefully inserted and implanted.
The procedure takes around 30 minutes.
This procedure is performed by our doctors who are registered with the Singapore Medical Council.
Once the threads are inserted, there is immediate visual improvement where the nose tips and ridge are elevated.
As the threads dissolve over the span of 6 months, there is collagen stimulation within the nose that gives a natural-looking lift to the nose bridge.
Individual results may vary.
Redness, swelling, pain and soreness may be expected for up to a week.
