Tired of periodically removing your hair?
Then permanent hair removal is the treatment for you! Unwanted hair is a common problem among men and women. Waxing, shaving and tweezing only produce temporary results. IPL and Laser are two methods to permanently remove body hair.
Hair Removal Treatments
IPL Hair Removal
Intense Pulse Light is a form of light therapy often used for hair growth reduction and hair removal. IPL has multiple wavelengths (between 500 and 1,200 nanometres) that scatter within the skin. This treatment works by emitting a wavelength into the skin, which in the case of hair removal targets pigment. The light is absorbed by the pigment in the hair, then quickly turns to heat which then kills the growing cells that make the hair. After consecutive sessions, the hair growth is greatly diminished.
Dr Cindy’s IPL hair removal is a safe hair removal method by today’s industry standards. It is most effective on darker hairs, and the added advantage of the treatment is that it improves pigment changes in the skin, leaving it much clearer and fairer after the treatment. It takes as little as 15 to 20 minutes, depending on the area, density and texture of hair growth, with minimal pain and no downtime.
Laser Hair removal
Laser hair removal is an effective way to permanently remove unwanted body hair by using highly concentrated light energy from a laser. The pigments in the follicles absorb the light and this destroys the hair. The high precision of the laser selectively targets dark, coarse hairs at the follicle, while leaving the surrounding skin undamaged. Each pulse of the laser takes a fraction of a second and can treat many hairs at the same time, making this an effective and efficient hair removal treatment.
Dr Cindy’s laser hair removal is an effective hair removal treatment with most patients experiencing permanent hair loss after 4 to 6 sessions. The treatment is customised to each patient’s specific requirement based on hair texture, area where unwanted hair is present and current skin condition. It takes as little as 15 to
20 minutes, depending on the area, density and texture of hair growth, with minimal pain and no downtime.
